The U.S. Consulate is hosting a 2006 Federal Voting Assistance Workshop, Wednesday the February 25, designed to assist U.S. citizens to exercise their Constitutional right to vote.

The session will be held at the U.S. Consulate office in Tijuana and will last approximately two hours, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. It is an interactive session with participants asking questions and making comments as the workshop progresses. Participants will use the 2006-2007 Voting Assistance Guide during the workshop and the workshop will point out features of the Guide and take the participants through the process of correctly completing the Federal Post Card Application and the Federal Write-In Absentee Ballot.

THERE IS A LIMITED SPACE FOR ABOUT 12 PEOPLE, THEREFORE, THE CONSULATE HAS REQUESTED THAT THE PRESIDENTS and/or REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ABOVE MENTIONED ORGANIZATIONS ATTEND THIS SEMINAR IN ORDER THAT "YOU CAN COLLECT THE INFORMATION AND SHARE IT WITH YOUR RESPECTIVE GROUPS".

I need to confirm with names and perhaps other data (place of birth, etc). So, please do let me know if you or a member of your organization would be interested, as the consulate needs to make proper seating arrangements.
